Into YourShadow

What is Into Your Shadow?

A collection of guided shadow-work resources: short written exercises inspired by Carl Gustav Jung’s ideas. Without mysticism or grand promises.

In Jung’s view, the shadow is the part of ourselves we usually do not want to see. Traits, needs, and emotions that we decided were out of place somewhere along the way and pushed out of awareness. They do not disappear. They return in reactions that surprise us: intense anger, what irritates us in other people, or patterns that repeat in our relationships.

Into Your Shadow was created to give this work a simple, organised structure. Instead of reading another book and not knowing what to do with it, you get a specific question for today and a place to answer it. One question, a few minutes, in your own words.

We are a small Polish team creating resources for self-exploration. This is the English edition of our work. We do not provide therapy or pretend to replace it. We create educational materials that explain the ideas they draw on and are clear about what a workbook can and cannot do for you.

A tool for understanding yourself better, not a substitute for therapy or support in a crisis.

Our approach

Shadow work is about noticing. Instead of pushing away an uncomfortable reaction, pause with it for a moment and ask where it came from. That is why you will find questions to think about, rather than advice such as ‘Just believe in yourself.’

Go slowly, without pressure. There is no streak to maintain, no points, and no ranking. If an exercise feels too difficult, leave it and come back later, or skip it altogether. Your writing stays in your own workbook or notebook. You pay once for your chosen digital edition; there is no subscription.

The aim is to understand your shadow well enough to be less surprised by it.

What you will find inside

Everything in English, in digital files you can read, listen to, download, or print.

A question for today

One question each day to think about and write down. Short, specific, and connected to ordinary situations in your life. No backlog to catch up on if you skip a day.

Guided paths

The Complete Kit includes four 21-day workbooks exploring avoidance, control, self-criticism, and hiding your needs. Follow a path at your own pace.

Working with projection

Exercises based on what irritates you most in other people. This can offer a clue to your own shadow. Explore it step by step, without judgment.

The foundations

Short explanations of the ideas behind the practice: the shadow, persona, projection, protective patterns, and becoming more aware of yourself. In everyday language.

Your journal

Write your answers in the PDF workbook or your own notebook. After a few weeks, return to earlier entries and notice what repeats.
